| Quantum CAD gets fit for prostate cancer charity |
| |
Quantum CAD, one of the UK’s leading specialists in the provision of PCB design services and full product design, today announced that the entire team of 10 managers, designers and engineers has signed up to run the Cardiff Half Marathon in October.
The company is aiming to raise £1,000 for Glaze, the prostate cancer charity, to support the charity’s goal of establishing a centre of excellence for Cryotherapy in the Princess of Wales Hos pital.
Cryotherapy has been developed to combat prostate cancer by using very low temperatures to freeze and kill cancer cells. It’s groundbreaking territory, and being able to offer the therapy at the Princess of Wales Hospital promises a much healthier future for the male population of Wales.
Steve Jones, Managing Director of Quantum CAD said: “Supporting Glaze, and helping to fund treatment for prostate cancer is vey close to our hearts. Because of personal experiences within our team, we are all geared up to make a difference, and help raise vital funds for the Cryotherapy unit. And as an added bonus, we all hope to get fitter in the process!”
